Where RoboAlarms
stands today.

The alarm runs on development panels. Here is what is available, what passed recent checks, and what still needs testing.

Availability

No public panel download yet.

The panel firmware and source are planned for release together under Apache 2.0. There is no fixed release date.

Available now

Docs and an integration preview.

The integration needs matching panel firmware, which is not public yet.

Recent progress

What moved forward.

These checks used development software and hardware.

Home Assistant and MQTT on a panel

Pairing, live status and reconnects passed with Home Assistant. MQTT discovery, TLS and replay passed with a test broker. Alarm actions and shared sensors still need bench checks.

More control in Panel Manager

The Overview can arm and disarm as the signed-in person in host and browser-mock tests. The new controls still need a real-panel check.

Sep 25–26

First radio and clock checks

A CC1101 received an EV1527 contact; the DS3231 clock passed initial panel checks; a ZAC93 answered without a sensor. Wider sensor and power-loss checks remain.

Before the first release

The next checks.

Software tests are useful; they do not replace a real installation.

01 / SETUP

Install with the current Flasher

The guided flow passes PC mock tests. Its current design still needs an end-to-end run on a panel.

02 / CONTROLS

Try the new browser controls

Arm, disarm and recovery paths in Panel Manager need real-panel checks.

03 / HARDWARE

Use real sensors and power cuts

Wired, radio and Home Assistant sensor paths need more acceptance tests. Backup power and clock recovery still need checks.

Sensor support

Connection paths at a glance.

These are development checks, not a model compatibility list.

Wired contacts
The input source runs on a panel. A real contact check is pending.
433 MHz
A receiver module and CC1101 run on panels; one EV1527 contact was received. More sensor models and protocols need real checks.
Home Assistant sensors
Panel pairing and status passed. Using a shared sensor as an alarm zone still needs a panel check and depends on Home Assistant.
Z-Wave
The ZAC93 passed a no-sensor check. Real sensor pairing and zone events remain unverified on a panel.
Zigbee
The optional coordinator firmware builds, but it has not run with an ESP32-H2 radio.
Other legacy RF
Additional 315/345 MHz families are planned. Some 433 MHz decoders have PC tests only.

A matching frequency does not guarantee support. See the hardware guide for parts and connections.
