I started RoboAlarms because I wanted a local alarm without subscriptions or feature paywalls. I’m building it with my dad. I bring more than 20 years in professional software development; he brings 50 years in electrical engineering and alarm work.

Built-in web app
Use the panel from a browser on your local network.
The panel serves Panel Manager over HTTPS. Once browser access is enabled at the panel, authorized people can sign in to view the remote keypad, check activity and manage settings their role allows. No separate server or cloud account is needed.

The person at the panel can pause remote control. Depending on your role, browser pages cover zones, people and codes, settings, activity and updates. Browser passwords are separate from alarm codes. Read the documentation
Before you build
RoboAlarms is DIY software, not a certified alarm system or a professional monitoring service. It does not provide emergency dispatch.
The controller is in the touchscreen panel. Backup power is required for operation during an outage; the DS3231 coin cell only backs up the clock. Sensors shared through Home Assistant depend on that server and their network. External-siren drivers and enclosure tamper detection are not available in the current build.
